Sibling Hike to Crypt Lake

I had a feeling that the whole week up to the wedding was going to fly buy.  Parker and I wanted to be intentional about spending some quality time with our siblings before the big day.  Let's just say it didn't turn out exactly as I was thinking...getting up at 4:30 a.m. to drive over 2 hours and hike almost 11 miles in the rain/sleet/hail.  Of course, the mountain views and crisp are are always worth it, as was the time with Marshall, Kate, Morgan, and Brian.   Quickly after entering Waterton, the Canadian side of Glacier National Park, we spotted our first wildlife...2 moose!
I just love the quaint Prince of Whales Hotel.  So beautiful as it overlooks the lake with mountains all around.
The boat ride across the lake to the trail head.
Why am I the only one who looks like a drown rat?
There were several snow fields to cross...early hiking season.
Crypt Lake is the source of that waterfall!  Long ways to go still!
Through the tunnel!
Crypt Lake at last!
Thanks siblings!  We love you!
